The sun is the closest star to earth and is the center of solar system. A very hot gas in form of giant ball. It is fueled by nuclear fusion reactions. The light from it heats our planet and that is what makes life possible. It displays sunspots, solar flares, erupting prominences and coronal mass ejections. These factors are related to sun’s magnetic field, which impact our near earth space environment and determine space weather . What is climate?- It is a warming heat as a result of heat trapping greenhouse gases which are increasing dramatically in the atmosphere. It is a measure of the average pattern variation in temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind, precipitation, atmospheric particle count and other meteorological variables in a given region over a periods of time.
