My attention was caught as I sit by our windows, praying of what’s interesting topic I should write. We’re almost one year now here on our new house it’s a small subdivision only. Yes, peaceful but a lonely place for me. Houses here were still few; so many lots are still vacant. Every month, one or two houses are constructed, just like this month. One is near along our side, the other across our street.
Constructions are booming fast, happy to see how it is blooming every day in the hands of those men. They are the construction workers as they are called, compose of carpenters, engineers, electricians, mason and so on.

My late father is a carpenter, mason with a little knowledge on electricity also. That’s why I admire and saluted this kind of men who really does their job faithfully.
It started on implementing the right measurements of lot before digging up, setting those lumber woods around. Digging those holes for post, while others busy aligning those steel for post, the foreman inspect. The post is very essential to be built well whether it’s a house to two stories or more.
It can took two to three months for a two or three stories to build it, according to abound supplies of materials and of men. These men, who are honest, eligible and faithful of their jobs, are great contributors to finish it on time.
At the start, they are clean with shorts, shirts and cups on head, but as soon as they started working, slowly dusts stick. At the end of the work, face covered with dust, clays and cement dust too. Burns on face and arms, perspirations from that heat of the sun, that’s what they got.
Carrying cements on their back, some long steels for post, stones and sands to pile it up at barracks or mixing cements for posts. Works are distributed according to talent; foreman manages the skills of men for distribution of works.
Smiles are seen every day before and after works in the afternoon, especially at weekend payment of course. I’ve seen and observed it because when our house was being built, am with my son who’s giving their salary.
Life is in danger for them too, especially for a house with two or more stories were men had to hang or climb on rope. Without those men, how can we have houses? I salute those men, admire them especially to those who are faithful in their work, honest and really work hard to finish it beautiful.
Those towering buildings all over the world we see are really so wonderful, admirable to view near or far. Sad to say, who are admired by people are those elite men who own those towering buildings competing each.
Those brains of men, strength of their hands and bodies, their times contributed to build it up. I salute them, for though our house is composing of three floors, it was built strong. I thank those men who had work faithfully, which compensate more than the salary they obtain. I thank God Almighty above all.
